Same thing happened to us but we turned out so happy with the stove that is didn't matter a whole lot. At the time we bought there were no shipping charges and that was nice. We've heated with the Fireview now for 10 years and all is well.

They make some pretty amazing stoves.
The efficiency is second to none!
I don't think I have used over 2 cords yet this year. I used over 4 cords in 2013 in the Fireview.

I certainly wasn't complaining. Getting a full nights sleep for 2 years is worth wayyyyy more than a measly 100 bucks. I'd gladly buy it again today at a higher price with the knowledge I have now.

I was looking at stove sales the other day and had no clue how much they were, bacuase their site still isn't mobile friendly.
If I remember I'll open the laptop and look.

If on andriod, goto their site and click the three dots on the right hand side and go down to "request desktop site"
It will make the pages navigable

I just got a paper sale flyer in the mail yesterday. I appreciate the idea, but I already have a stove. I'd really like it if they mailed me a flyer with a sale on maintenence kits/parts on sale for the following season. Ash pan gasket, door gasket and new catalyst in a package deal sounds like a winner to me, maybe even offer an optional upgraded radiator for those of us still plugging along with warped and scaling generation one radiators.
