Anyone got 'em. My woodpile always seems to make a good backdrop. Post 'em up! 011.JPG

Is that a buck that dropped his antlers? Looks like it.

No. It's a big, old horsehead doe I shot in mid-October. Here's another picture but without a woodpile. 003.JPG

I was referring to the one with the snow on the ground. In the pic it looks like on top of its head you can see where it popped its antler right by your index finger on your glove.

No. That was a while ago. 2009 I think. Back then we had to bring all deer to a check station. The station I used to go to would tag all does through the ear and all bucks through the hock. It's not dressed yet but it is tagged so that means I killed that deer on a property that I used to hunt about 12 miles from my house. The owner didn't want to dress any deer on his property. I would stop at the check station and tag them on the way home and field dress behind the woodpile. The deer I killed on my own property would be field dressed first, then brought to a check station less than a mile from my house. Now, all deer are checked electronically.

Yes, because that trophy is a bit tough and chewy. I hear if you season it properly, and put in a stove with a bunch of other pieces like it, that it will be so tender that it falls apart by morning time. :smoke::rofl:
