The Drolet Tundra seems to be a pretty good price. Really wish I had a preexisting chimney in my basement to hook into.......
I never see the option to put a nickel or gold door on the drolet inserts, especially the 1800i. I'd be shocked if the inserts don't use the same doors as the freestanding units that you can get the different door options for. To me, the drolet inserts are a dearth of black, and very plain. The huge surround that is plain black doesn't do anything to help. Does anyone know of other surrounds available?

I have had a drolet pellet stove for a year now. Couple complaints, but it keeps us warm, good in my book. Also, tech service is responsive.
