With some strategic burning....a very mild winter... and some real nice weekends...I can't believe it but my wood shed is already done and filled for next winter!!! Holds about 9 face cords in all... This is the earliest that has ever happened...Plenty of wood still in the garage.. at least 2 face cords worth......Other than a side wall in the garage I put kindling on..( usually 2 face cords worth)...I'm almost completely done with next years wood supply...Takes about 3 days to do that side wall of kindling...I'm pretty anal about it..Haha. This year it will be a mix of Ash, Pine and very old Hickory that needs to go...Even my neighbor is shocked...:)

Just getting started on the stacks here. White Pine first. FA6240B9-F86F-4FAA-8797-54BA07555DDC.jpeg Then move to Ash. Then will buy some Beech or better. Will get about 27-30 face cord done for next season by end of April, hopefully.

Still have enough firewood under the porch to burn through end of May. (Will keep having random fires to heat up large tank and keep heating our DHW.)
