I got 5 cords of wood moved in the woodshed today (with some help). Two to go and I will feel ready for whatever winter brings us. It looks like I have another 5-6 sitting outside, so all is gooder!

That is on my agenda today as well. My shed holds 6 cords and I have another neighbor that has a few more truckloads for me to pick up. Going to be a busy day for sure

I have half my wood stacked under my deck so far all at 20% or under on the meter. Had to make room to re-stack my 22-25% in the better drying location this spring. Just checked it and its at a wonderful 18-20% on the bigger splits!!!! I will move the rest of that under the deck in about a month or so. Its only about 1.5 cord so should be able to tackle it in a couple nights after work. I'm just excited to have truly seasoned wood to work with this year!!!:D

We usually take wood into the barn sometime around mid-October. Probably will be the same this year. Some of that depend upon the weather.
