Was loading up a half cord of nuggets and shorts and came across these. An ornamental yard tree i first thought a variety of honey locust. Bark reminds me of a cross between cherry and yellow birch. After three plus years of drying they were still on the heavy side.
Not a freaking clue. Never seen bark like that in Wisconsin that looks like a satellite map of The Mekong Delta!
