    Just got 2 loads of logs in FINALLY! The first one had no oak, the second one came 2 weeks later from a different site. The logs were wet, so I'm having a hard time identifying these with no leaves. Sorry for the bad pics. Not sure if oak or maple.

    Nice load of logs there MMM! :thumbs: Dont see any oak.
    second pic two upper logs are birch
    Last pic...log with chipped bark looks like sugar (hard) maple. I also see an ash log, red maple too.

    Yeah, I'm guessing rock maple, but it looks different when wet I guess

    Really sharp focused clean end grain pics are the most helpful IMO… particularly when trying to ID any oak.
