Over the weekend little man was helping me at the woodpile and asked if he could help me buck a few logs. He said "I already have my safety glasses and earmuffs!" so I decided it was a perfect time to learn. He did a great job and learned good throttle control after a few trys.

Well there's a Husky Man in the making. I had to wait a lot longer before I could run the saw.

Little Piney rippin’ stuff up. :dex:

Unfortunately my dad never let me run saw. I was always on load/unload/stack duty. Surprised I’m where I’m at with burning wood cause I always hated it growing up. Good to see you involving him in the most fun part.

When I put the 365 away, he asked if he could run "the big saw" 394xp. Let's not rush into this buddy

If it's got a motor, he wants to learn how to use it. He's definitely a motorhead since birth.
And like you, my dad only let me help with stacking and loading wood in the house when I was little pineys age. My dad was hit by a log load that came off a truck when he was young so he was overly cautious with me around log piles.

Good job teaching him. I was never taught. Didn't use a saw until my mid teens. I always loved all things firewood since being in diapers.

Good job, young Piney. Now he needs an Echo XS4910.
