That’s right. Women left the neighborhood. Chastised me for not trimming the dead branches off the pine tree before they left. I couldn’t reach the higher ones. Problem solved :)

Has anyone told you that you did the right thing? Because you did the right thing!

Ah yes the old 1-6-100 rule! That is 1 cut 6 inches above the ground solves 100 percent of your problems.

(that’s an old electric utility saying that I used for 23 years when dealing with idiots that planted trees under our power lines)

to the dump this morning. Let the tub grinder deal with it.
There’s one log being donated to the local sawyer. The rest of the stems will go to him too. Firewood for his sugar shack.

Swift concise action. I vibe with that.
Done that a few times here too....feels nice. Done my the right way rather than ongoing issues conflict or discussions.
    How old was the tree?

Just to clarify. Thread is a joke. It’s a tree that fell two years ago and I’m getting too it now in my normal timely fashion LOL
The bosses went on vacation so I can work in peace :)

Technically it’s a roadside town tree. Within three feet of the pavement. The womenz called numerous times to have it removed but never happened.
So I hauled this and one log of rotten Ash which is also town owned to the dump today. Guy tells me he will allow me to dump but he’s not supposed to take anything but brush. It’s a town transfer station with logs the town dumps there,,,,just the people can’t bring logs,,,,
So I told him it’s technically his tree anyway LOL. He informs me that’s not possible because the town would have picked it up. Told him it’s been laying there two years and numerous calls and I finally brought it to him.
Also said I have a bunch more Ash logs they left behind too that I’ll be bringing in the next load. Nope, gotta call the town.
Wellallrightythen I’m doing the calling come Monday and I’m gonna give somebody a piece of my mind. Jackwagons.

Hold on to your hat :)

Lines have been running through the center of this row of pines since I can remember and I’m 62. Row must be 100’ long. Must be fun to trim inside.

Those Norway spruces look great... on other people's property :picard: Once they surpass Rockefeller center Christmas tree size, they become very problematic. Hey, there you go Joe. Maybe ship one down to Manhattan after the Thanksgiving day parade clears out? :)
