It is too muddy to get into the woods with any equipment in northeast Wisconsin. Spent about an hour cutting up this white birch that had fallen right next to the road. Also cut up some hard maple further into the woods but it is too far in to haul out by hand. Beautiful afternoon to be in the woods!
One tier of logs in the back of a Ford F 150. It is the perfect time to cut wood, except for the access, temps are comfortable and no bugs yet!
I hear ya, it is very very muddy here, but the weather is starting to get really nice out so it's hard not to do anything. I have a 2 big oak logs I'm thinking of cutting up and spliting this weekend but they will have to sit in the woods for a while after I am done with them as I can't even get a atv out there
Mud is going away some here. Fortunately we have not had much rain or moisture since January. The woods were really wet and still are in places but on our place it is not bad now.
And it surprises me that you have so much as the lay of the land there would lead one to believe it should be dry. But then, you get more rain than we do and not as much sand either.
Yeah. You two should really be counting your blessings for sure. And please tell Carrie Hello from Judy and I.
