    That’s pretty affordable.
Let us know if you buy it and about it’s performance
Question- should the info on connectivity be referred to as Bluetooth or am I missing something about WiFi?

It probably acts as a wifi access point. It could be bluetooth but the amazon reviews seem to back up the wifi aspect of it.
One person complaining about the SSID having characters the app wouldn't accept.
Seems like it would be worth the money. I might risk it.

There are some USB-C versions, too, and they are even less expensive.

Only has 11.5' of cable, my chimney is taller than that. Guess that's why they make string and cellphones!!

One of the models had 33’, I think, and was in the $35 range. I wonder how good the WiFi would work if the sender was within the chimney.

Only thing I see is the focal point. 3 to 8 cm. Does that mean you can only focus between 3 and 8 cm from the lens? Pretty handy sounding for the $
