With the crazy wind we have had for a day now and as dry as we are it was bound to happen. Near me the 4 closest departments have had to fight grass fires. There are a couple BIG fires going elsewhere in the state, one an hour east in a river valley and another near and by now probably in a national grassland. Both have multiple departments fighting the fires. The wind has been crazy and once something starts, it's gone! 1st pic is some wind speeds, second is yesterday afternoon, I had to stop on a little traveled road and take a pic of all the dirt in the air reducing visibility to 1/2 mile.
