So, I've taken the Maples down out front, over half the wood was standing dead and rotting, I did manage to salvage the lower portions of the trees. So, quietly I also got a "NICE" score of free Oak that a friend couldn't take so... I told him I'd take it! Wifey said no more, yard is full! and what did I do... Yup, go get more I'm in the "BIG dog house now" I have the yard set up for 10 cord and thats pushing it. I'm hitting about 12 now said and done after done processing. So now I got about 2 cord of Maple and 2 more of Oak, 5 sitting cords of Oak and about 3 in the wood shed. This may be an expensive dinner out soon...
I volunteer to solve the problem dave... my processing area will hold 50 cord easy (2.5 acres) my front lawn 2x that on the flat spots.. so bring it up.. i will store it for ya top covered for upto 4 years with only a small holding fee.. Ive got no oak really looking to try it! anything to help a fellow brother out of da dog house! in case I'm too far BDF is in central jersey looking for some wood log length!
Nice work, and Get your wallet ready! Dinner and maybe the woman's hunting store aka jewellery store!
Like Dennis says, and Redneck.....go vertical! Jeesh Dave, I don't see the problem.......you gotz tons of room.
Nice stash of rounds. I see plenty of room for more. Just think, it's less grass to cut. Less grass to cut is more quality time with the boss.
Nah, WeldrDave you've got it figured out-Take her to say Ruths' Chris and sweetly tell her this fantabulous dinner was made possible by all our btu's in the yard while sticking it to the man!...She'll understand and dont forget dessert...Nice stacks and wood too good to turn down my friend
This will be an easy fix, Dave. It will literally be just a day or two. Don't build a fire till till there's frost on the toilet seat...she'll see it your way...
You must have a background in pro baseball, because that's some major league hardball right there TD!
Should we have a smiley depicting beverage spewing from the nostrils?! WeldrDave, keep it going. I've cut at least 15 minutes of grass mowing from my wife's weekly/semi weekly yard schedule.
