Unfortunately for us, it's not gonna happen. Supposed to hit 46° later today, which will hopefully melt some of this nasty ice off.....

Only about 3-4" left now. We got just a dusting last night along with a little sleet. You can see the plowed area and that is where we give our local deer some treats. Look closely and you can see one of the paths they use daily to come for it. Hint: it looks like a cow path. And for the DNR, we do spread the goodies so they are not all right in a tight bunch. We have to laugh because every winter as soon as it turns cold and then some snow, the deer will come looking for a handout. They know which side of the bread the butter is on. Look at all the bird feeders too. Yes, we do have a rather large feed bill monthly...

No chance of the white stuff here in East Texas with a high today of 80 degrees and a low of 70, and a 20% chance of rain.
About 6- 8" everywhere, but 2+ft in the woods. Geared up and took a short jaunt through the woods this morning.
