I'm in Freetown . If the house goes down to 70 it's test fire time . My stove is in the basement where it's cool so a short fire won't overheat the house .

Took the window fans out so I could shut all the windows Tuesday - and they've been shut since. This morning it was 42* outside (at 4am, could have dropped another degree or two) and it was 65* inside. This weekend I will take the plastic out from around the exhaust pipes and remove all the newspaper stuffed in there. Although I cleaned both stoves and performed the LBT on each of them, I now have a lint eater so may want to run that thru the pipes before performing a test burns. We'll see what the house temp is like.

Oh yeah, I need to call someone to service my boiler and light the pilot light so I have back up if needed.

In the past I have run a stove pipe cleaner thru - but it doesn't go thru the whole length of exhaust because of 45's or 90's. I'm hoping the linteater doesn't get much (just because it would give me better peace of mind), but then again, I hope it gets a bunch (then I know I haven't just :emptywallet:)

Time to lug in the small air compressor to blast out the room fan - don't know which is louder, that or the small Shop Vac.. :picard: I'll find out soon! :D

Speaking of brushes I just picked this up at Lowes and the selling point was that it was made in Canada not China for a change : ) IMG_20160916_105238.jpg
