    Working on a 36 50 and 257 IMG_20201022_173522.jpg IMG_20201022_173545.jpg IMG_20201022_180710.jpg
The 028 weighs near double what the 257 weighs
And the 257 far out cuts it.

add did say it needed a new chain.

    I don’t think it’ll need much

fuel line. It also has the plastic clip intake that ill metal band

I’d be 100% tickled with it except the front AV seems to be stripped from the tank. Have to figure if there’s away around that without replacing the tank. That was worth a discount though.

A new chain won’t cut backwards either lol.

You can melt the hole full of weed trimmer line and redrill the hole. Or shove a piece of trimmer line into the hole and run the screw in for a quick fix

That’s worth the shot. Thank you sir.

I debated whether to mention it, the chain, but not for long. Pointing it out wouldn’t make either one of us better off.

No sir, it wouldn’t. Unless the owner thought that was the reason it wouldn’t cut and needed to be replaced

Nope, bad back and too much for him. We never talked about how it cut or that it could start but wouldn’t run other than he said it needs a tune up.

I was given this 025 that has been setting for many years.
No fuel residue or odor left at all.
It's a very low hour saw
It just needs a fuel line I have one around here somewhere
And I have a new carb.
    I'm converting it to 3/8
I just got the sprocket kit. IMG_20201213_120222.jpg Oddly it had that plastic orange t
In the fuel tank no filter. IMG_20201204_150038.jpg
    I got a 16" upstart bar and 4 chains
I've run the 3/8 full chisel for year's
    It's been good.

Well I picked this one up with a bad p/c as a 590. It’s was only a few months old and just like new otherwise. It was a good buy and I was going to rebuild it anyhow so why not make it into a 620?!
All said and done you’ll spend just as much as a new one... so just to make the swap it’s probably not worth it. It was a new p/c, coil, handle bar and some screws and pieces to fit the handle. It’s a killer saw though all said and done.....

Yeah I really like my 590. I have thought about just putting the unlimited coil on it. I’ve heard it really makes a difference.
