Im on my way to work this morning and this was posted right down the street from me. Drive by and corner of my eye caught it. Had to turn around and take pics as nobloody would believe me! I didnt nor am i going to take any! I dont burn wood with paint/varnish/stain, PT, plywood, OSB. Only raw wood! I dont know what made me laugh more...the sign or what they were passing off as free wood! Either way i had a good chuckle on my ride in! I told buzz-saw about it as hes only a couple blocks away. Mebbe he'll take it!
The sign should have read, "haul my garbage away, as I am too bloody lazy to do so". I think you deserve an A+ .
I may have to eat my words. That kind of wood might become firewood in occupied territory/seattle in few months.
The real estate sign had "sold" on it so current owner cleaning up. There was a dumpster in the driveway.
My daily chore as a kid was to walk across the street to a crate and pallet warehouse and carry home one broken pallet at a time and cut it up with a hand saw. That was the only wood we could afford and some of those old oak pallets were awesome. I recall scooping out a ton of nails in the ashes but wood is wood and it kept us warm.
