We've driven past this place (only a couple miles from us) several times but today I finally had a camera with us so had to stop. Got to meet a really nice couple too and surprised we haven't met them before. So now 2 new friends (along with their 4 or 5 dogs).

The lady has several more she is working on. One she is not quite done with is the tiger and it is sitting in the barn but I got the picture of it as is. Also, the peacock was made all with bottle caps by a child.

    Very resourceful!

But looking at some of those, I'd take the tires instead!

Many, many years ago we would take them with us on our all night fishing (more like drinking) trips to the river. Start a big ole fire and throw 'em on to keep the bugs away. Don't try that today. You might just end up spending a night or two in jail.

Have to agree...If someone on our street did this my wife would petition the Township, County and State! She has been Hillbilly since birth, but she can't handle messiness!

That would be a place I would want to take my young grand children. They would be very entertained. Remember that old saying "One man's trash is another man's treasure"

There's a house on a route I travel occasionally where a guy built a retaining wall out of old tires. It's a highly traveled road and I can't stop to take pics, ticks me off you guys would get a kick out of it.

Any chance you have a picture of said backstop that you would be willing to post, We're throwing around ideas for a backstop at my house. Was thinking railroad ties or telephone poles, but who knew railroad ties came with a large price tag??

They do not sell them yet but I guess they've been asked. They did donate one to a family who had a son with cancer. They cheered him up when he saw them so they gave one to them but I don't remember what character it was. Just remember talking about it and thinking that was such a good thing for them to do.

No sales but perhaps if they are badgered enough they might. They seem to enjoy it and really like it when people go by and the kids get all excited.
