Looking to pick one up and if I don't have to wait for shipping, the better.

I've struck out at 2 local hardware stores, several Lowes and 2 saw dealers.

    Thanks

Try your local mom and pop saw store. Otherwise order early on line and be ready to wait. I have never seen one in a store but I have one.

I bought mine a couple of year ago, at the club store, BJ's here in the northeast. Similar to Sams or Costco. I may have just gotten lucky the day I was there.

Ace or true value hardware. A little more$, than online for sure. Local ace here had like 9 of them the other day. I scoffed at the fiskars before i owned one, but have been made a believer.

I found one at my local Lowes...even though an employee said they didn't have 'em (I seen they showed stock online)

    Ya beat me Dave.

I was surprised to see them at Wal-mart a couple years back.

Yep. That's where I got my IsoCore 8lb Maul and X27. Better than searching in stores.

I always have liked the Fiskars products. They seem to be more "balanced" when you use them.
