    image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg So Dad had an old chainsaw powerhead kicking around in one of his sheds, thought I'd maybe see if anyone has a clue what I'm looking at?

    It must be magnesium? As it is metal not plastic.

    Looks like a Husqvarna 65 or 77. One of the first versions.

    I had a look on youtube, and while it looks like either model, the model 77 has the exposed spark plug sitting up top. Thanks Kyle.:thumbs:

    Only question now is, is it worth being a restoration project/something to do in winter?

    Short answer is yes but Depends on the price and what internals it needs. They are very easy to work on and strong tourqy saws to run.
