Clean the basement, garage, polebarn and wifes closet out of course. Could of got by with a 20 yarder if it weren't for all of my wifes shoes!! Yes I am proud to be a hoarder!! Gary
Fill it. Don't know with what....everything I've hoarded over the years becomes useful at some point. Guess my response is redundantly redundant.
Well... if you still have room in the dumpster, and you're the one on the hook paying for the haul off- offer the extra space to your "good" neighbors, free of charge. You'll be a hero and give them a reason to finally get rid of some of their crap.
I believe Eric, you will find out a lot of that stuff becomes less useful as you trudge on toward retirement age. When I was younger, I used to save it because it might be needed someday. I saved til it got to the point that I lost track of my inventory. Now it has became a process of pairing it down. On of my favorite ways of doing it is to download it to a buddy of mine who is going thru the hoarding stage. Every time he stops over I am now able to load up his 3/4 ton pick up because he just can't resist...........
Our town just provided 3 - 30 yard dumpsters, they do it every year...having started a go-rodge renovation about a month ago, I had 20 years worth of "stuff" accumulated and made good use of the dumpsters this year. Before it's all over, I betcha' I could use more dumpster space!
I've gotten rid of most of the stuff I don't need, but I'm pretty sure I'd find more if I had a 30 yarder in the drive. We have a sorta-kinda rule.......if it hasn't been used in a couple years or more, it needs to be at least considered for the dump/recycle/give away pile. I know, pretty strict, right?
Planning to build a house next year (hopefully!) I know there is a bunch of stuff I'm not going to move. Debating on buying a dump trailer or renting a roll-off-I know what makes more sense-but I know what I want to do!
