A fun light hearted question of the day.
    Dislike most: disingenuous christmas music....
Can't stand: that Charlie Brown Christmas song that is so depressing.....

    You?

Pretty much all of them. When they started playing them Nov. 1, I pretty much lost all liking for Christmas tunes.

Christmas music should start on 12/23 at noon and end on 12/25 at midnight.

I hate the 'ear-worm' those songs give me....and those two songs are easy to get stuck on.

So far I've found that separating the commercial music from 'the reason for the season' makes a difference. When it's played in stores Nov 1, it's purely for commercial financial gain. Which makes it hard for me to enjoy.

Well I don't have a specific least favorite but I do have a favorite. I can put this on repeat and listen all day.

    Doesn't get old... ever.

I still enjoy the quirky Christmas songs. Grandma got run over by a reindeer, Alvin and the chipmunks, ya know, the classics:thumbs::rofl:  I don't want a steady diet of them but when they do come on I do enjoy them. However, I have been called weird, so there is that.:p:p:D:D Having a warped sense of humor helps.

    I’ll derail this thread :

I will rescind my earlier statement I enjoy these 2 Christmas songs when I happen to have the radio on if they are played.

Anything modern "pop", IMO, isn't Christmasy at all. Especially from Mariah Carey or Celine Dion. Sorry, but it's like a hot poker in my ear hearing either one of their "mainstream" Chrismtas songs....

I love the old stuff because that's what my family played when I was growing up, and I have many good memories of my youth at Christmastime. This is a time of year, for us, when we really celebrate those memories and traditions. Hence the reason my wife and I go "all-out", even though our kids are older......our house is quite evident of those old traditions.

    In stores …

My wife would listen to that stuff year round, two of the girls start babbling about Christmas about July. The two closest towns ( pop. 1200 ) blast it from loud speakers on Main Street.

    Maybe I am just a Scrooge…

I could go the rest of my life without ever hearing that song again.
