Alright, I ended up getting these two xl12's for $30!!!! The one with the scabbard runs like a top and the other came with it as a parts donor but it is also complete. I don't have the heart to rob any parts off of it so I'll try and get it running. My question is about vin decoding. My understanding is that a 7 digit vin is an early model with no info on dates ( that's the donor saw) the saw that runs is an 8 digit vin: 32960866. I know this has probably been posted a billion times but I figured there'd be someone who could tell me right away lol. Thx
