    Yeah I saw that.

So they must have to have the word dried and verified that it's dry before it can be sold???

    Lol.

That reminds me of the time that my friend threw the snowmobile trailer tire that blew out on the way up North, INTO my cabin's open fireplace. Amazingly nothing bad happened. Just had a massive flamethrower out of the chimney. I had a fire extinguisher ready, but I didn't use it. I thought about it, and I probably should have and made him clean it all up.

As I read it...any wood sold in quantities under 2 sq m, has to be 20% or less MC...quantities over 2 sq m can be wetter, but must include instructions on how to properly dry it down to 20%

    Can this Limey come back?

Just remember, you lot!!! Most, if not all of you descend from European stock and some of that stock is good old Blighty! Be nice to your old ally, because now more than ever we need each other singing from the same prayer sheet!

The wet wood thing here in the UK makes perfect sense. Only a moron would burn wet wood in an urban environment. Those out in the sticks can afford to be a little more accommodating when mixing wet with seasoned wood.

But to be honest, this rule won't make a difference to my life. I'm a wood hoarding freak who enjoys slinging wood into a pile and allowing that pile of BTU gold to dry sloooooooooooowly over 2 to 3 years. It's how we roll!
