Hope it happens for you. I was down in Kingston yesterday. I thought we were a dried up mess here until I got down along the 401, things there unbelievable. We are forecast for a 40% Friday, 30% Saturday for showers up here. Heard tonight that there is a massive fire in Algonquin Provincial as we speak. we are about 40 miles from the east gate there. I've had my fill of summer.............c'mon fall

Right where I want to be.
You know it's dry when the grass is crunchy.
We should be getting some rain tomorrow afternoon, and some again on Friday.
If it rained for a week, it might help a little. At least the well still functions.

I had planned on renting a trencher tomorrow and running elec to the garage project. With rain (80%) in the forecast, I will have to put it off for a day or so. Dang.

We received 1.5 inches yesterday morning, so nice to see substantial rain again.
Today however, the beginning of a 5 day stretch of 90+ heat and humidity.
Hopefully we get few storms rolling through to tease the blonde grass.

We had 2.5" last night. Slight breather now more this more tonight. Still high humidity and high dew points. Uncomfortable as all get out. The Canadian cold front moves thru tomorrow. We needed the rain. Western Minnesota parts got 8 to 10" overnight. That's too much too fast.

You can all have every bit of my rain!! I cut my grass Sunday evening and the front lawn has already grown 2"! Normally by this time of year I can get away with cutting the grass every 2-3 weeks, but this years I've had to cut weekly all summer, and go over the front lawn twice to break up the clumps.

The forecast here ranges between 30-80% rain every day for the next 8 days, on top of the downpour we got last night. I know the farmers like the rain, but I wouldn't mind a slight drought.

We're supposed to get a couple inches by Monday...not that we need it. I've already put more hours on my mower this year than I ever have before...been on a 4 or 5 day schedule since April. Usually I can go 10 days or more through July and August.

Most guys have their 3rd cutting of hay put up and are well on their way to their 4th.

Come on up, I'll give all the drought you want. Bring some rain with you when you come......................The farmer's up here would love some. They are already having to buy hay to feed cattle and a number of wells are drying up

Not in this part of Ohio. It's been so dry here that I fear my son could fall in one of the cracks in the ground. They'd darn near swallow him whole. Bring on a nice steady ran.

Way too dry here. I am suppose to go to a wedding on Saturday. I think they are planning on it being outside. My cousins son's 3ed wedding! If it is nasty out, that will be a good excuse not to
More storms to rumble through the weekend

It looks very unsettled the next few days Larry. We had .50" yesterday. It was nice, but not nearly enough. Trees are dropping shriveled leaves everywhere.

My grape vines are just getting ripe and duly picked by birds and squirrels. It looks like a bust for grape jelly in a few weeks.
