HIJACK - How many tons does a typical burner use a year? Does a ton = a cord more or less?

It depends upon different factors location Maine vs Virginia ,how big is the home how well it's insulated. For me it was 3 ton last year. I burn a bag a day keeps the house a toasty 70* + 1st floor 68* bedrooms 2nd floor.
