Could it have been a test for future planning purposes?

    Curious as to others thoughts.

Naw...don't think they'd do something like that, would they?

I mean, that'd be like telling everyone they have to shelter in place in addition to closing your churches, schools, cancelling travel plans and force millions to choose between their jobs and vaccinations, wearing "protective gear" that is proven not to be effective.

Mine was out about 6 this morning...service through Cricket, which I thought used Verizon towers, but now I read its AT&T, so I guess that makes sense...I dunno what time it came back, but by mid morning it was back, and I did not see it go out again.

I read it was on att and those that use att only. I just switched green att that I had due 23 years. I'm on spectrum which is Verizon now.

Most people don't have land lines anymore. I haven't had a land line since my parents had one 20+ yrs ago. Heck even our work doesn't have traditional phones. We have desk phone numbers, but they are tied to our laptops and Microsoft teams. When I work from home, it's the same phone number and connection as when I hook up the laptop at work. We have headsets for phone use and those work wherever we are connected to the Internet.

Me too. I didn't find out about it until after I logged off from work and went to my town FB page.

I hear you, but I'm going to believe this nugget as it's pretty plausible.

Some of the stuff reported on the news is definitely suspect.
