Was given a small scrounge. I was told it’s elm, It’s maple, I think red maple.

    Yeah, it's Maple but kinda looks like silver maple. I get cords and cords of it here after a Nor Easter. Shallow roots.

    That's red Maple, splits easy and dries rather quickly.
