Anyone notice just how cold it has been inside the walmart stores this year? Their workers have told us that the climate is controlled by walmart headquarters....
Yes, we've noticed several we've been in at some time lately were quite chilly. If I'm chilly in a store, it's pretty chilly.
I use curbside pick up when I buy there, or opt for delivery. Their employee shoppers do a really good job picking out fruit, veggies, meat etc. I am ok with the products but not OK with the environment. I feel sorry for their employees who have to witness what they see and experience everyday. Should I have to go in, (last resort) I go in off hours. There have been gun shootings and other bad things that go on there. Never hear about it at Target. But our Target doesn't have fresh food sections.
Another thread headed for a train wreck? Oh wait ; this was a Walmart thread so carry on. I have my blindfold right next to me.
I would think the reason why the stores are so damm cold is nothing more than an attempt to maintain their profit margin. But, when we are shopping in our "regular" food store, we don't notice the unhospitable shopping conditions. And don't notice any wal-martians for that matter!
