It just arrived in the dark last night. I haven’t had time to use it yet. Hopefully later this afternoon or early evening. I have a little work I can do where it’s dry enough and is crushed stone.

Well I just went out and fired it up and drove out back a ways on the dirt/crushed stone road. Then started getting use to it by pushing, scooping, lifting, and dumping a bunch of manure/hay mixture piles. Stirred them all up and piled them back a bit to make room for more in the front. Then I used the nice 7’ wide bucket to back drag the whole area and get it leveled back off. It is going to take some time to get familiar with it. Went from a hydrostatic transmission on the Kubota L45 TLB to a 8X8 Gear Transmission with a LH Power Reverser on this N.H.TN55S. The power reverser is nice. Just took my time today. Everything is so soft right now I’ll stay on the firm stuff until it dries up. Sooooo much I’d like to go do but would just tear things up. So I’ll find other things to do instead. It seems to run nice though!

I don't care what the color, a new tractor is freakin awesome! Good choice going up a size and moving from hydrostatic. I would like to do the same some day.

Thanks. New to me, yes. But this is a 1999. Budget limit and I like pre tier IV emissions. (2013&older) Hydrostatic is very handy for just about everything. You do lose a little power to it, but it is worth it to me. Eventually I’ll probably go back to a Kubota. LOL But only when I’m in better shape financially. In the meantime. This tractor will more than suffice.

I was worried about emissions on my Kubota with the DPF...but it just tells you when it wants to regen and all you have to do is throttle up past 2K until it's done. Really isn't a big deal.
