My kitchen needs to be updated and my wife and I are kicking around the idea of redoing it in a farmhouse/cottage style. I see some gas stoves on CL from the 1930-50 and think they would look pretty cool in the design. Only problem is neither of us have ever used on. IDK how much of a different animal they are compared to the modern gas stoves. I wouldn't want to get one, design the kitchen around it and end up hating it.

So if anyone has used one and can give me a some feedback or a comparison between old and new that would be awesome.

    Thanks
