Any chance someone here has a service manual for a BC625A chipper? Working on the auto feed.

I have a Bandit 200xp. The sensor for the auto-feed is built into the alternator and can't be easily accessed. They want you to but a new alt. instead of trying to replace the sensor. Then they want nearly $300 for it. I replaced it twice. When it went bad again I said the heck with it. I've just been using the "stop/reverse" bar for 6-7 years now.

But to answer your question, Vermeer should have one on they're website

Thanks Joe. One of my techs recently replaced the stator on this machine and it turns out he forgot to hook up the wire to the auto feed solenoid valve.

I've got the manuals they offer for free from the site but was hoping to find a better service manual. The one we got is pretty basic.

It seems to be working fine now and maybe with a little luck our many different operators can keep working with it.

For what it is worth they sent me a free one for my round baler. All I did was call and give them my serial number and mailing address.
