Neither fast nor cheap, but interesting.

The problem here is, most of us cannot, or do not use splits that big.

I like it, but not practical for just anyone.

Looks like you would burn quite a bit of diesel to get a cord of wood. You'd have to be pretty good on the controls to get any kind of speed out of it too. Probably not a problem for a guy with regular seat time on the skidsteer, but I get a little rusty if I haven't ran one for a couple months.

Looks like he had the last couple rounds more centered and better medium sized splits.
The perpendicular units probably give you a better visual of the round - I don't think you can see the round all that well from that thing.

    Nice toy but impractical tool.

That is one sweet wedge. 2 cord an hour without touching a piece of wood seems pretty productive to me especially when those splits can end up in the back of a trailer in that same hour. Biggest limitations I see are that you need a skid steer and a whole bunch of 16 - 24 inch logs.

With all the driving around and manipulating the rounds, the actual cycle time must be very long. I'd be very surprised if it could outpace one person on a conventional splitter. And then there's the fuel consumption...
