    This was a multi millions project. I would bet they put 100 thousand just improving the access road on the homestead. I think some of the poles they just replaced were replaced just a few years back. They are redoing the line on a 40 mile stretch so they did this to get access to each pole along the way.

    Some Fir and Maple but mostly Alder as you said. Probably a 2 or 3 year window depending on how much is actually off the ground.
