what else is there to say! This is huge, no more wet boots and gloves. I got the sawmill off to the side, told her that she's got to share her space. S'posed to be real crappy tomorrow and I haven't made any firewood for 2 years while building the "sawmill building". I've got this year's wood but that's it.
Warner sees it. Looks like a big toolbox on wheels with a red wedge. I "cobbed" that together 40 years ago just out of high school when I had to travel to the wood. I could stuff a lot of saws, gas and whatever 'cause I was coming home with a truck load!
You can say when you’re building mine. Please,,,,,, Christmas is just around the corner. That’s a sweet system.
I had never worked with them before so I didn't know what to space them at. The collected info seemed to be 4-6' for Maine with only a 3/12 pitch. I put them @ an oddball spread of 4'4" iirc. then I just put a pair of posts under each truss for support and increasing in height to create the pitch. There's a long build thread over in the milling and sawmill section.
Looks great. Do I see a footer under the walls? What are the dimensions of the building ? What size log pole will fit through the door? Sweet set up!!
