Uncle Jeds and Rib Mountain

I've been burning the Uncle Jeds Cold Remedy for the last few years, very consistent, an excellent pellet i think. I've been seeing the Rib Mountain pellets for a bit cheaper and before i buy 3 or 4 tons thought i ask for opinions of them.

I've burned both. The Ribs are pretty much identical performance wise. You may notice a bit more dust, although the Jeds I bought last year were a bit dusty. I have 3 tons of Ribs for this year.

Will do, the Jeds have been great, very consistent, and i will probably get 2 tons of the Jeds and 2 of the Rib's blend. Looks like the Jeds will be $240 and the Ribs $220 per ton.

 

Didn't know you were asking about the blend. I was referring to the pine Ribs.

My bad for assuming. It seems to me a pure softwood would perform better then one with hardwood mixed in. What's the old saying?

It's an $8 difference between the blend and the straight soft(oldman)wood. Quess a ton of each and see how it goes.

 

What dealer is carrying Rib Mountain.

 

A guy on craigslist, he's in marshall. There was another in deerfield last year too.

 

Its just an average pellet around here, jtakeman
