UHMW Skid Sled

    I built a skid sled with a 4' x 5' piece of 1/4" UHMW plate i had laying around. Works pretty good.

    I bet that works great Dan... and, does a nice job of smoothing out the trail behind ya too... :yes:

    Yeah it does smooth out the trail nice. Problem is it pushes snow back into the tire ruts and I have to push though it again on every trip.

    I am hopeing for tracks next year, would work slick with this sled.

    Very simple & slick. I use a jet sled pulled behind some wimpy 2 legged drive dude; yours looks better.

    I have an otter sled based ice shanty. Sorry to say I am not impressed, that thing pulls HARD!

    With that log load I was able to push that sled with one hand.
