I never cease to be amazed at how pathetic our world has become. Protected tree - somebody wants a piece of it. Protected animal - somebody wants a piece of it. I hope every piece of chit azzhole who cuts on those trees or knowingly buys a piece of one loses a piece of something important to them that they hold dear.
It is a shame. And the pic in the article looks like more than just the burls were cut off, it looks like 1/3 of the trunk is gone. They have to make noise in order to get their prize, someone will catch them.
Thanks for posting that. Although it won't stop all of it, it is good to know they can catch these bastards! Let's hope they, and Chuck, can keep a very close eye on them.
