    My friend runs a tree service and messaged me this morning about a load of poplar he didnt think i would want it i said of course ill take it i dont say no to free delivery of logs after all the years of scrounging off the road

    its good for mixing in with my barbecue wood..i tested it before had no problems

    Heated my house with tulip one winter. Throws real good heat as long as you’re around to keep stuffin it in.

    Good friend to have. Ribs look tasty as does the tulip poplar. Manageable size too.

    Do you get much fly ash? I remember burning it and it was light flakey ash that I'd think would float a lot if disturbed much. Kinda reminded me of black walnut in that aspect.

    Yes because it dries so fast!
    Number 1 cause of burning issues is dry wood.
    A truck load of Dry tulip poplar, teaches most water won’t burn.. many still afraid of pine.
