Anyone burning this years TSC MWP (their older red bags not the new white ones). I picked up 2 tons in August, iGepir told me bar code was Maine Woods Pellets. They are really small and a bunch of fines but as long as they burn ok and don't jam the auger I'll be happy (once I get the auger groan fixed so i can use stove).

I burned a couple of bags of TSC red bags (MWP bar code) in the P43 over the weekend and they ran fine. Small, uniform length pellets. about the same ashiness and heat as Stove Chows - maybe a bit better. Happy not to hear the occasional groan as the stove is trying to break up a super long pellet from the Therma-Glo's!

I got two bags a few weeks ago and they did fine for me as well.

I also bought some TSC bagged MWP this season. I have only burned a small amount, but quite happy with them. The pellets are shorter in length compared to the ones I bought last year.

I was driving past TSC today and noticed a large new supply of pellets out in the yard. So I stopped in to take a look.

They are all MWP in the new white / blue bags. The man with the forklift was out there, so we had a quick chat. He told me they received 10 truckloads today, all MWP. I asked how sales were this year. He said they sold 600 tons during the early buy layaway sale. Then as I was walking out, I heard the clerk over the intercom requesting a ton of "hardwood pellets" to be brought out for a customer.

    $264.50 - 10% = $238.05 which is doable.

    Hmmmm, I just might get 1/2 a ton?? ;)
