Last night while driving to meet another dud of a guy (think Dustin Hoffman-who btw made the mistake of saying wood burning is dirty) I passed WOOD DOWN! At the same spot as last fall where I posted pictures of me right on the busy highway....anyhow this morning when my eyes popped open I thought....I got to get moving! Flew out of bed...it was 7....and got a full load of maple....came home...unloaded and headed back out...and as the first piece entered the bed some dude stopped and yelled....my grandpa owns that! And that's your last piece! Well when he rounded the corner I picked up a few more but another vehicle slowed to look and I had lost my momentum so playing the odds I left...grrrrr! Now I'm waiting on grandpa and the cops....so I'm out the door to cut and stack....they'll have to identify the product...ha! Only one shot but all the way up the right of way was laying with wood....grrrrr times 2!!! Darn...couldn't get the road shot to load....here's the pile added to my already overflowing stash...
Yikes! You ALWAYS need to ask permission! Even if you've been there before. In the interest of your firewood karma, you should get it cut, split, and deliver it, along with a sincere apology to the rightful owner!
I concur with two above. Unless there is reason to believe that nobody has picked it up or will, and youve asked...well id return it if I were you.
Karma will bite you where it hurts. Never assume just because it was OK months ago, that it's still OK Sent from my SM-T280 using Tapatalk
I could not say it better than this! It is some nice wood but if someone else owns it, it is rightfully theirs and not too many people like folks who take what is not rightfully theirs.
