    Storms took some limbs off this guy last night , as well as took out several big whole trees. Thinking about taking this one all the way down, if it will make good wood but I am not sure what it is. Looks like a fruit tree or something to me but bears no fruit.

    Should make your saw feel like a light saber. Dries quick and burns about the same. Great for shoulder season.

    That box elder actually looks decent. They are usually crooked curving disgusting looking trees. I hate them lol.

    That would be the only reason to cut Boxelders unless you are just hard up for firewood or needing a chainsaw fix…

    Yeah , I think I will clean it up and see if it will bounce back. I like the tree , it gives some good shade right next to our small pond.
