My neighbor across the street had a HUUUUUGE willow in his back yard that was hanging over his neighbors garage. A piece broke off a couple of years ago and luckily it only got the eve trough. A couple weeks ago, he finally decided it had to go before he wound up buying a complete garage, car, and fence.

He hinted at me and my chainsaws and I shot it down REAL quick. Sorry bud...my climbing days are over and I don't have insurance. The guy took that tree down, cut it into rounds for him, and did a big spruce that was in the other corner of his yard. $1300 cdn pesos all in. All brush removed and the stumps ground down to below grade. I told him he got a very fair deal from my perspective. Watching these videos is just a reminder of why I don't mess with trees that are anywhere near anything breakable. Lol.

Wow. Could not watch that. I hate it when the cameraman can't hold still.

    Human is pretty good.
    From his fall to...
    F*** you Dan!

I really respect how he owns his mistakes in life especialy prison.
So many ...pussies today. Sadly I know people who have gone to prison and nothing is their fault ...no ownership no responsibility.

It’s bad enough when you hit an immovable object like a house. But when you drop a tree on your own vehicle which could have been moved you really get the bone head award.

Gotta admit I topped one tree from a ladder. Favor for a pretty girl ;) Took a long time and worked out well but I’ll never do it again. Thinking back it worked out very well indeed but I’ll still never do it again. LOL

Any type of tree work or trimming from a ladder makes me cringe.

We've had two guys die from logging accidents this past weekend, one death was caused by a falling branch (It hit him) that gave the man a heart attack which he died from and the second man was not far from here, they misjudged where the tree would fall according to the news article.
