This isn't a sales pitch. I know alot of you pull trailers. Lowes hear locally is having a clearance on Reese trailer hitches. They only had them for 2 inch receivers. The welded square tube to plate designs are all about 50% off. Got a 5-1/4 drop for $13.00 and a 2 inch ball for $8.50. I put them together with the wrench hanging above them before I left the store. Cheaper than harbor freight with a coupon....I checked.

Already have several 2 inch drops but needed a bit more drop for a trailer I borrowed recently. May go back for a 4 inch drop.

You might check Lowes.com and see if they honor that deal.

Looks like Reese is changing out for a new look or design. I had to go back and pick up the drop size between 2 and 5-1/4 for $12. Now my collection is complete ;)

I have from straight to 5-1/4 drop in 2 inch ball, 2 inch drop for a 1-7/8 ball and an adjustable drop pintel hitch. I know I'm lacking a 2-5/16 ball hitch but my little truck would have a hard time pulling a big trailer empty. Unless the ball on the pintel hitch is a 2-5/16?

Need to keep an eye out at the scrap yard for a 3 to 5 inch drop 1-7/8 hitch. May have to piece that setup together. To pull small trailers level I need more than 2 inch drop.
