Truckload of mostly hickory and good bit of chestnut oak. Hope this finds all well. What a crazy, awful year-may hope spring eternal.
Those are redbuds wildwest , the hills here abound with them, they are blooming now along with the crabapples that are the same color. Softwood I worry more about my woodshed...its double guardrail for the most part in the curve above my property
I don’t know about you guys but my nights are 30’s and 40’s now-Thank God for good ash....Our average temp for this time of year now is 70 by day and high 50’s by night-my burn is lower than 50, I need a fire...wasting shoulder wood IMO
Yard therapy tomorrow: tilling up the garden, a little splitting and stacking by hand, maybe a backwoods to keep the mayflies at bey. (And a jar of mayflies in case I don't find any). Ashwatcher : like your land. Lotsa room to move. Sca

Hey Canadian border VT , forecast here is for record low tonight @30*, it spit and blew snow all day yesterday-They say this is it...80’s next week soo
Hopefully last blast for you too-Not much winter at all here with no appreciable snow, one good cold snap but of course cold enough to burn 24/7. On average, I think I burned a lil more than usual but still only around 3.5 cord-And working from home led me to keep house warmer too during pandemic...Hope you and all are well my friend
Thanks TurboDiesel for the clarification-I just knew thats what we call them here, although they are more pink and a lot of people mistake them for dogwoods, Good year for blooming it appears-must be all the rain we’ve had-Snowball bushes are loading up and the crabapple and pears were vivid but just about done. These recent freezes saw to that.
