There was a large old cherry on our property line that was dying and hanging over both of our houses so she asked if I wanted to split the cost of having it taken down also.

I agreed and ended up w a lot of wood lol

I’m up to 6 cords without having to leave my house. The neighbor on the other side had 2 large mulberries taken down last month and gave me all the wood.

My neighbor a few houses up had 2 large trees taken down and I assumed he was keeping the wood. It was sad watching the tree company load up the flatbed at the end of the day.

Sad you had to watch that one load taken away but looks like you got yourself a great bunch of firewood anyway.

Looks like a win win...you got the tree over your house down and the wood close by...good deal all around.

I hear a lot of good things about mulberry, Cherry is good as well! I’m interested on smelling mulberry burning. Nice rounds there. Bummer on the last one though.
