This is harder than playing cards. But more fun!

More Ash logs for the Amish customers.

If you play cards anything like me, I'm betting the wood pays better too. :pete:

LOL - I don't play cards for money anymore. I used to, many years ago, just for fun. But I have too many other things to do now. Now I just play Kings in the Corners, War, Go Fish, Scat(31), etc. with the kids. I can remember playing long card games with my parents and older siblings. We learned them from the older generations. Games like Solitaire, Double Solitaire, Rummy and Canasta(sp?), etc.
    Good times.

I just calculated up the bd. ft. of the logs I cut today. I have 730 bd.ft from todays cutting. Not too bad. I am only 100 bd.ft. short of the 2000 bd. ft. needed for the mill tomorrow. I will try to cut another 600 bd. ft. in the morning and early afternoon tomorrow, weather permitting. 100 bd. ft. to fill that order and another 500 bd.ft. that another gentlemen wants.

Today in the early morning it was nice for cutting, then by late morning and afternoon the heat was sucking the energy right out of me. I was sweating like crazy. Finally I looked to see what the temperature was on my phone. It was 81! :picard:No wonder I'm sweating my azz off! LOL Time to quit. I then used the tractor for a while, but the cutting was all done at those temps. Then the rain came. Time to relax in the air conditioning! Dropped off and picked up chains at The Woodchop Shop here. $5 a chain for sharpening.

Alright. 22-2300 bd.ft. of Ash to that mill done.

Now I have to cut another 500 bd.ft. of Ash logs for the guy who moved my garage for me. He wants to buy those from me to build a thick deck for a wagon. Then I will be done cutting for a while. Well, except for clearing the unwanted trees where the horse pasture for wifey the will be. :zip:
