Heavy, fragile, and under powered. Jmo. My two favorite days of owning a 076 was the day I bought, and the day I sold. Just like a boat. Lol

I used to have a Stihl 056 magnum, it had all the power a guy could ask for pulled a 32 inch bar like it wasn't even there. The downfall of this series of saws is that they are heavy, and are prone to ignition troubles . If I was gonna buy a vintage saw I would be in the mcculloch or pioneer way of thinking.

What you planning using it for. Just fun or serious work. SquareFile hit it right on. Parts are spendy & getting rare too.

Just fun. I have a like new 880 with the 59" and 42" bars for the occasional overgrown silver maple. That has only seen about 5 tanks of fuel as it's truly a pia to use, kids afraid of it and arthritis makes me avoid it. Next is 2 echo cs8000's one a 36" and the other a 28" I refer to them as my girls, had them about 20 ish years. Then a cs680 20" for a small saw. That's what I use for work along with a few top handles for the one hand someday I'm going to bitten stuff. Normally I'm picking up the older power products, root's, Mall's, 2 man's ect. Don't have any old stihls though so it got my attention. I'm older, overweight, slow and expensive to fix also.
