last year stumbled across Canawick bricks. fell in love after a one nite stand, she lasted eight hours without a push. @ $285.00/ton the price really wasn't to bad. this year my local dealer in Brockton, Ma. has changed to Hot Bricks. these are a little smaller but burn just as well. the problem is a huge increase in price , as the are selling them for $285.00 for a 1650# pallet. looking for a southeastern Mass. dealer with a better deal. prefer the Canadian product but the Hot Bricks are ok, or any other suggested brands. thanks, have a day
Biobricks, listed as sold @ R B Negus Lumber Co. Swansea, Massachusetts Canawick Bricks listed as sold at South shore Wood Pellets Holbrook, MA (not too far from you) $274/pallet HotBricks also available @ Long Pond stove shop in NE CT www.hottubfireplace.com
That's a good idea. My father-in-law has a Biasi wood/ coal burner and he hates it. He's only getting 4-5 hrs of burn time. Coal is a little longer but he misses the overnight burning he used to get out of his other wood burner.
If there is a tractor supply near you they carry them too $3.49 for a 3 pack each brick is 7-8lbs. some times you can catch them on sale for $2.49
I'll grab some for him when I get back. I'm gonna hunt around for pellets down here. I'll let u guys know what I dig up.
