We had 3 days in a row when it hit 60 degrees. The forecast didn't look like we were in for any cold weather. So I just now looked and they forecast 26 tonight with rain/snow. Oh well, it will be short lived but that is too much of a swing in temperatures for my liking.
We have some cold weather moving in too, they're (NOAA) calling for 16 degrees tomorrow night. We might get a dusting of snow overnight.
Yep, and now we're back to rain, then snow. I've watched the temp move from 42 to 36, then back again about 3 times today. To paraphrase Paul Revere.....The winter is coming, the winter is coming!
This is the kind of weather that makes it hard to heat with the stove, at least at my house. It's too cool to not want a fire, but even a small fire is almost too much right now. We have 2 couples coming over shortly.....I hope they wear tee shirts.
Woody, I know tug hill is expecting some flakes. This change is difficult. We are at 52 now, I lit a small fire, and may put another load in later tonight since temps are expected to drop to around freezing.
